Encompassing the well known area around the Stadthuys and most of
Melaka's most famous historical treasures as well as the ever fascinating
Chinatown with its antique shops and restaurants the Historical
District is an ideal location from which to explore Melaka's past.
For our purposes this area encompasses hotels south of Jl. Munshi
Abdullah and within the immediate vicinity of Stadthuys. Hotels
in the historical district range from world renown 5 star properties
to delightful boutique properties. FYI, in order to remain objective,
hotels are listed in alphabetical order. We don't favor any hotel
for any reason. |

Rates: Standard RM 150.00 / Superior RM 170.00 (include breakfast) Don't let the Aldy's red facade fool you - the Aldy is one fine hotel. Smack in the heart of the historical district the Aldy has perhaps the best location in the historical district - indeed it is part of the historical district being located in one of Melaka's oldest buildings (hence its red facade - in order to match its surroundings).
